USA Weather
The United States is both extremely large, and contains a diverse range of geographic features, and as a result contains regions with nearly every climate type. For example, although much of the country is temperate, Alaska has a polar climate, Hawaii and Florida have tropical climates, parts of the Great Plains have a semi-arid climate, and desert regions can be found in the Southwest of the continental United States, and coastal regions of California have a Mediterranean-type climate.
